🈺Nalnda Project
"A CD. How quaint. We have these in museums." — Eoin Colfer (The Eternity Code (Artemis Fowl, #3))
Every problem comes with a solution. We propose Nalnda project for the persisting problem of the publishing industry. At Nalnda, we pledge to transform the publishing industry. We provide ownership of eBooks to the buyers who are free to resell them. Our decentralized storage and advanced e-reader application make it almost impossible for malicious users to pirate the content. Also, authors and publishers can earn a royalty on every second-hand eBook sale.
Nalnda brings readers, authors, publishers, and traders together allowing them to collectively provide a high-quality reading experience guided by the foundational beliefs that:
Readers should be the owners of eBooks they buy and should be able to resell, lead and share them with anyone on the platform
Authors should directly interact with their fans and fans should be able to connect with each others. Authors should be able to market their books on social platform, interact with their fans and if required tip the readers for reading and reviewing book.
Authors and publishers should earn revenue on sale of every second hand eBooks
Author should be able find enough number of readers for their books so that authors earn optimum revenue for his creation.
Authors should be able to track the progress of readers without compromising the privacy of the reader
Publishers should be able to optimized the sale of their published books so that every title breakeven and provide margin to the publishers
Governance should be the center pillar and incentive should be earned by creating value in Nalnda, and shared consistently between user authors, readers and publishers
Nalnda works on decentralized storage and Non-Fungible Token v2.0. Our NFT based book will have two parts : Content and Book Cover. While epub content (File A) will be stored on decentralized storage as ERC -721 nested NFT, Book Cover (File B) will be ERC- 1155 NFT that will use NFT v2.0 feature to
access File A
transfer of ownership of File A
mimicking the features of second hand physical books. NFT condition should change based on ownership history, read time of File A, and previous selling price by it's owners
Imagine, in addition to epub content (File A), authors launches audiobook (File C). File B will have access to File C as well.
